Odesa Branch of USPA Begins Preparations for Integrated Management System Certification Audit

The Odesa Branch of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” (USPA) has begun active preparations for the certification audit of its Integrated Management System (IMS), which combines the enterprise’s key operational processes in accordance with the requirements of international standards.

To ensure thorough preparation for the audit, the Head of the Branch has approved and put into effect the IMS Internal Audit Program. By August 31, 2026, internal auditors and appointed technical experts will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the activities of the branch’s structural divisions.

As part of the internal audit, designated specialists are evaluating compliance with the Integrated Management System requirements, the relevance of documentation, the effectiveness of operational processes, and the level of personnel readiness for certification.

The Integrated Management System incorporates international standards in the fields of quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety. This approach ensures unified management principles, enhances operational efficiency, and promotes the rational use of resources.

— Preparation for the certification audit is not merely a matter of demonstrating compliance with international requirements. It is also an opportunity to improve internal processes, enhance safety standards, and strengthen the confidence of our partners, — said Dmytro Nazarenko, Head of the Odesa Branch of the USPA.

The successful completion of the audit will serve as further confirmation of the systematic efforts of the Odesa Branch team to improve management quality, operational safety, and environmental responsibility in line with international best practices.
