Odesa Sea Port Authority Participates in Meeting with Delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Representatives of the Odesa Branch of the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority" took part in a meeting with the official delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, headed by H.E. Mr. Seymur Gurban oglu Mardaliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine. The meeting was hosted by the Odesa Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, providing a platform for constructive dialogue.
During the meeting, representatives of the Odesa Branch of the State Enterprise «USPA» presented the operation the port of Odesa under the conditions of the full-scale war. They highlighted the measures taken to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the port infrastructure despite continuous enemy attacks and briefed the Azerbaijani delegation on the performance of the Ukrainian Maritime Corridor, which remains one of the key instruments supporting Ukraine's exports.
Members of the Azerbaijani delegation expressed their sincere respect for the professionalism, courage, and resilience of Ukrainian port workers, who continue to ensure the stable operation of the maritime sector despite the challenges posed by the war.
Particular attention was given to the prospects for strengthening Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation. The discussions focused on opportunities to increase bilateral trade, expand logistics routes, and develop new transport and logistics services between Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
It should be recalled that during the official visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the Republic of Azerbaijan on 25 April 2026, a package of bilateral agreements aimed at deepening cooperation between the two countries was signed. The development of partnership in the fields of transport and logistics is one of the key areas for implementing these agreements.
