Today, 13 June 2024, marks the 11th anniversary of the start of the operations of USPA, the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority"

For the third year in a row, the USPA team, together with the entire Ukrainian people, has been resisting the large-scale invasion of the aggressor. Despite the significant loss of capacity caused by enemy missile attacks, the maritime logistics of the national economy is gradually recovering. For example, in the first 9 months of the Ukrainian corridor's operation, the ports of the Black Sea region handled more than 50 million tonnes of cargo. Despite the war, our country holds leading positions in the global agricultural market and plays an important role in maintaining global food security.

We are starting the 12th year of our company's history with a firm understanding that Ukraine has been and remains a maritime power. This was made possible, first of all, thanks to the heroism and courage of our Armed Forces, the Government's strategy, and the ongoing support of our international partners.

We thank everyone involved and hope that by working together we will be able to implement our new plans: to resume container and ferry traffic in the conditions of martial law, expand the range of cargo handling and reach pre-war cargo handling volumes.

We are working for victory!

Glory to Ukraine!

Yuriy Lytvyn, Head of USPA
