August 29 — Day of Remembrance for Ukraine’s Fallen Defenders
Today, we bow our heads in remembrance of those who gave the greatest sacrifice — their lives — for our freedom.
The sunflower has become a symbol of remembrance for those who are no longer with us, but whose courage and sacrifice will forever remain — in our hearts, in our land, and in a free Ukraine.
We remember. We are grateful. We will never forget.
