The delegation of high-ranking officials from EU member states (Weimar Triangle) visited the port as a part of an official visit to the Odesa region
On 20 June, Olha Stefanishyna, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Anna Lührmann, State Minister for European Affairs of Germany, and Adam Szlapka, Minister for European Union Affairs of Poland, visited the port of Odesa.
Yurii Lytvyn, CEO of USPA, briefed the guests on the work of Ukraine's ports and the functioning of the Ukrainian corridor during the russia’s full-scale invasion. The delegation witnessed the destroyed infrastructure of the Odesa Passenger Terminal due to russian attacks.
The port workers thanked the international partners for their support and the substantial expert assistance provided to Ukraine by the EU countries.
FYI: The Weimar Triangle is an informal international association consisting of Germany, Poland and France. The association was founded in 1991.
The association is named after the German city, Weimar, where the first meeting of the three countries' ministers took place.
