A RECORD NUMBER OF CARGO WAS TRANSPORTED DURING 10 MONTHS OF THE UKRAINIAN SEA CORRIDOR OPERATION

55 million tons of cargo is the cargo turnover of the ports of Greater Odesa for 10 months of the Ukrainian Sea Corridor operation. 1954 handled vessels. 37.4 million tons of agricultural products were exported to 45 countries.

The constant increase of the transportation volume indicates the effectiveness of the Ukrainian Sea Corridor functioning, that Ukraine launched ten months ago on its own, exclusively with the assistance of the Сombined forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite the constant shelling of the port infrastructure, Ukraine remains a top exporter of agricultural products and a guarantor of world food security.

Currently, 68 ships are waiting to call the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi, exporting almost 2 million tons of cargo.

Behind these record indicators are people who have made enormous efforts to ensure such a high result. The Ukrainian Sea Corridor is an effective logistics track that ensures the exports and imports movement by the sea transport. Sincere gratitude to the teams of the Ministry, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, the Сombined forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, business, international partners and everyone involved for ensuring a stable and predictable volume of exports. The stability of the Ukrainian economy depends on the further development and stable operation of the Greater Odesa ports, said Vasyl Shkurakov, Acting Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.
