On 13 July, Acting Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine Vasyl Shkurakov and representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Transport and Infrastructure headed by Chairman Yurii Kisel visited the ports of Chornomorsk and Odesa to review the current state of work and hear reports from branch managers

After that, a working meeting with the heads of the industry's enterprises was held at the head office of USPA, during which the CEO of USPA Yurii Lytvyn briefed the participants on the results of the Ukrainian Grain Corridor and the company's plans for the end of 2024.

During almost a year of operation, 57.55 million tonnes of cargo have been transshipped through the Ukrainian Corridor. 2,059 vessels has exported cargo to 46 countries, including 39 million tonnes of Ukrainian farmers' products. "Thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, business, international partners, we have ensured a stable and predictable export volume, restored container shipping and ferry service, - Yurii Lytvyn stressed.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to capital investments. For the current year, USPA has planned UAH 829 million. The priority areas include overhauling and restoration of critical infrastructure (berths, roads, railways, branch buildings) damaged by enemy missile attacks. Dredging and purchase of technical fleet for the USPA needs.

At the end of the meeting, Vasyl Shkurakov personally congratulated the participants on the past professional holiday - the Day of the Ukrainian Navy and presented certificates of honour to the best employees of the enterprise.
