ALEXANDER KUBRAKOV: ABOUT 30 MILLION TONNES OF CARGO HAVE ALREADY PASSED THROUGH THE SPECIAL CORRIDOR IN THE BLACK SEA, WHICH UKRAINE OPENED SEVEN MONTHS AGO ON ITS OWN, SOLELY WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF THE UNITED DEFENCE FORCES

In December-February, the volume of goods shipped in the ports of Greater Odesa increased significantly. Ukrainian products are currently exported to at least 38 countries.

Protection and development despite constant attacks were discussed at a high level today during the visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis to the Odesa Commercial Sea Port.

Caravans are formed on a daily basis for entry and exit. It is about several dozen vessels from the ports of Greater Odesa. We can also talk about a significant increase in cargo turnover at the ports of the Danube cluster. Over the past month, about 2 million tonnes of cargo of various types were handled there.

Today, the enemy cannot stop our exports and is therefore trying to destroy the port infrastructure. The numbers speak for themselves - since July 2023, the enemy has used more than 880 kamikaze drones and more than 170 missiles. Unfortunately, it is not just property damage that is happening, russian terror is killing civilians.

Odesa needs protection, Odesa needs more air defence systems. Despite the war, our country remains one of the world's largest exporters of agricultural products and a guarantor of global food security. Protecting Ukraine's ports means protecting millions of people from hunger.
