The parliamentary delegation of the French Republic, led by the President of the French National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet, visited the Port of Odesa
During the official visit Yaël Braun-Pivet personally inspected the seaport, which has been repeatedly targeted by enemy missiles and drones. The guest witnessed the consequences of russian terrorism and saw the destruction of critical infrastructure, firmly condemning russia's aggression against Ukraine.
During the meeting, the guests were briefed on the security situation in the region and informed about the functioning of the grain corridor. Special attention was paid to the importance of restoring port infrastructure and protecting Odesa from systematic attacks by the aggressor.
As a souvenir of their visit to the Port of Odesa, members of the delegation were presented with bags of Ukrainian grain - a symbol of Ukraine's historical mission, which has been and remains the breadbasket of Europe since the 18th century.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, the CEO of the State Enterprise "USPA", representatives of the Ukrainian Navy, and local government officials.
